Wolfe County, KY (Campton Mine)
Royal Standard Minerals has its first permitted coal project and has obtained a signed agreement for a 50% interest with Sharpe Resources Corporation in the Campton project surface strip mine operation, located in Wolfe County, Kentucky. KSEC, a Royal Standard Minerals, Inc. subsidary, is the operator and, currently controls a 100% interest in this project. The Campton mining rights cover more than 1,000 acres with the possibility of increase to several thousand acres containing approximately hundreds of thousands of tons of coal. The coal is of high btu thermal quality (12,500-13,600 btu), which will sell at current market prices to the electric power generation market.
